The Tomzn TOVPD3-VA is a 100A voltage and current monitoring protector for compatible 400V three-phase, four-wire electrical systems. After the supply returns to an acceptable condition, automatic reconnection can restore the circuit following the configured delay. Earth-leakage protection may require an appropriate RCCB or RCD, and short transient events caused by lightning or switching require a dedicated surge protective device.

Sustained over-voltage and a transient surge are different events. Describing this device alone as complete “surge protection” can mislead buyers. Depending on the installation, a coordinated system may include breakers, earth-leakage protection, contactors, motor protection, dedicated SPDs and proper earthing.
