System Components

The Building Blocks of a Three-Phase System

Every three-phase installation is built from the same core parts. We supply all of them.

Distribution Boards

Enclosures and boxes to organise incoming supply and outgoing circuits safely.

MCCBs & MCBs

3-pole and 4-pole breakers for main incomers and branch circuits, selected by load and fault level.

Contactors & Motor Control

Magnetic contactors, relays and control accessories for motors, fans, pumps and compressors.

Changeovers & ATS

Switch between WAPDA, generator and solar sources manually or automatically.

Cables & Connections

Cable and connection accessories for power and control wiring, including DC cable for solar.

Protection Devices

Surge protection, over/under voltage and phase protection, and earth leakage devices.

Metering & Indication

Panel meters and indicator lights to monitor voltage, current and phase presence.

Solar Integration

Three-phase hybrid inverters and DC protection for industrial and farm solar.

Applications

Where Three-Phase Systems Are Used

Three-phase power delivers more capacity and smoother motor operation than single-phase supply, which is why it is standard for heavy loads.

  • Factories, production lines and workshops
  • Poultry sheds with tunnel fans and cooling pads
  • Commercial plazas, warehouses and cold stores
  • Pumps, compressors and HVAC equipment
  • Industrial and farm solar systems

Before you order, have these ready

  • Total connected load (kW / kVA) and largest motor
  • Number of outgoing circuits
  • Backup source: generator, solar or both
  • Any preferred brands or existing panel layout
Not sure? Send a photo of your existing panel or load list on WhatsApp and our team will guide you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a three-phase electrical system?

A three-phase system uses three live conductors (and usually neutral and earth) to supply power. It carries more power than single-phase and is used for motors, industrial machines and large buildings.

Which breaker should I use as the main incomer?

For most three-phase panels a 3-pole or 4-pole MCCB or MCB is used as the incomer. The rating depends on your load and supply; share your load details and we will help you select it.

Do I need a contactor for every motor?

Motors that are started and stopped automatically or remotely are normally controlled with a magnetic contactor and protected with an overload relay or motor protection breaker.

How do I connect a generator to a three-phase supply?

Use a correctly rated 3-pole or 4-pole changeover switch or ATS so the generator and grid can never be connected at the same time.

What protection should a three-phase panel have?

Short-circuit and overload protection (MCCB/MCB), surge protection, over/under voltage or phase protection, and earth leakage protection where required.

Do you supply three-phase products for poultry sheds?

Yes. See our Poultry Farm Electrical & Solar Solutions page for shed-specific products.
