Earth Leakages
Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers (RCCB/ELCB)
An earth leakage circuit breaker, also called an RCCB, trips when current leaks to earth, for example through a damaged appliance or a person. It is an important safety device for any home DB. We stock 2-pole and 4-pole models from ABB, Schneider, Legrand, CASMO, Green Power and MORA, including a MORA RCBO.
What You'll Find in This Category

- Commercial and industrial panels
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an RCCB and an MCB?
An MCB protects against overload and short circuit. An RCCB detects earth leakage. Most panels need both, or an RCBO that combines the two.
2 pole or 4 pole RCCB?
Use 2 pole for single-phase supplies and a 4 pole RCCB for three-phase supplies.
How do I check that my RCCB works?
Press the test button regularly. The breaker should trip straight away.
